RLS

So I've been playing RLS on my Warlock lately, going quite well, got to 2500 already. But then we started to face several RLS mirrors, and we had special problems against one of them, they pretty much started on me (Warlock) and then switched to Shaman with Garrote > Cheap Shot > Kidney > Coil > Blanket and he pretty much died, so we lost 4 games in a row like this.
What we were trying to do was going on Warlock/Rogue peeling as much as possible, but didn't seem to work that well. So eventually we tried the same tactic as them, but we switched to their Shaman before they switched to ours, and we won 3 games like this.

But I really doubt that they're that good, so I'm wondering, generally, what to do vs mirrors? Any help would be very much appreciated :)

Also; I'd like to get some tips vs Shadowplay and MLS, we only faced those comps once and they were around 2700 rating but we didn't stand a chance, so any tips against these two comps would be very much appreciated aswell.

>against rls: if you let their lock free cast you will lose. you must be on lock unless you are swapping to the shaman (only swap to him if u get full dots on him). you can peel rogue with something, but dont waste time on him because then your whole team will get dotted and u will fall behind fast. you can kill the rogue in a swap with dance bomb and full ks and coil but that is really rare. 90% of the time u will kill the lock or shaman (i prefer shaman).

it really comes down to which warlock does a better job getting his pressure out. once u have dots rolling u can make something happen depending on who is in what position. make sure that your shaman is ready to get the hexs and howls off your rogue, for he will be on their lock kinda far away. you dont want your rogue to trinket something your shaman can dispel because then he can die in a full stun bomb dance combo.

against mls: this comp is strange to fight. we win some and lose some. i honestly dont know the best way to win

Against DK - Mage - Priest we tend to swtich between Mage/DK quite a lot depending on the Fear DRs and if we're on Mage and he blocks and our Shaman is fine we switch to Priest.

vs MLS we train the Mage with Wind Shear + Spell Locks on the Warlock; just outlast them pretty much, can also switch to Warlock with Banish + Dance if he runs too far away from his portal.

You need to control WHEN you get peeled. Don't blow your anti-peel cooldowns randomly, let yourself get peeled for a while if the situation isn't right. Line up full haunted demonsouled dots on someone, get a fear out, and THEN you can bomb dance or cloak dance. All it takes to score a kill is one dance, and against caster cleaves you can make yourself unpeelable for dance's duration.

This is also why you're better off going for stuff without immunities. Disc priests, resto druids, resto shamans, warriors, warlocks, and dks make the best targets for you. Just keep in mind the worst thing you can do is use bomb or cloak or dance when the situation is wrong. Make sure you combine cooldowns properly and use them with cc and dots out, you can even wait for your warlock to be on sheep or fear DR so that he can't get cc'd either. Just be patient, RLS can turtle forever until the correct situation arises. You'll feel like you're getting peeled a lot but what makes rogues so insane right now is when they want to get a kill, they can make themselves unpeelable... it's ok to get peeled when your cooldowns are down or you don't have much pressure.

I'd get on the ele shaman or priest in ele/mage/priest. Either dance/cloak garrote -> KS priest after trinkets down (from early blind maybe) or bomb/cloak/dance on shaman.

Against MLS you can do the same thing, just exchange the ele for the lock and the priest for the shaman.

mo you should never train a mage as rls, your lock should keep up dots on him ready for a potential switch tho, such as blinking randomly, over extending or just coming in range of rogue for a shiv, from there you can either instant dance garrote, he is either going to trinket the silence or eat a load of damage, if he trinks the silence instant stun him forcing blink and ShS to him, make sure you healer knows you are dancing on him so he can focus dispells on you, i would rarely use cloak offensive during this unless 2 blocks are down but there are situations where its worth it.
If the switch fails to force any CDs though dont continue training, switch onto one of the easier to hit targets, aka warlock as MLS or feral as FMP, get pressure rolling on them while your warlock/shammy lock out mage, stabalize the game and prepare to switch back to there mage/healer when you have the CDs up to do so. but its all situation :/

1st, dmg is too low
2nd, you are rogue, you rly cant change your position in game, but your warlock should play to not take any dots from other warlock. They full doted you, lock and shaman. IT should not happend.
3rd you are smoke bombing gefore DK's AMS, - its completly wrong you cant force even trinket.
4th you warlock dmg is too low, because he's tanking them at the middle. every single time if dk will reach him he should just port gg.
5th DK had full hp you were full hp, your warlock was on 40% hp, DK was in afrika. You used disarm for no reason.
6th if your warlock CSing ( i mean spell locking ) someone it should be opposite warlock, shaman only if DK is under pressure
7th your lock feared shaman 2 times and 2 times he had tremor ;d ofc rls dmg is rly good now you can score kill without ccing shaman but you need to switch dps/healer a lot.
8th your shaman is not using hex at all
9th when they were under pressure you should change pilars ( your lock and shaman ), sometimes it can be hard to play "closer" but you are able to switch on shaman and yes its the easiest target to kill for you ( howl dpses, stun shaman , hex dps after with ua )

I think thats all what I can say about your rls ;p

Start dk with sap on shaman, this should force cds. Look for swaps onto shaman or try to go hard on the dk when shamans off sap and fear dr(blind sap). Always use hexs and fears on lock when shamans ccd to avoid peels and same thing on dk and lock when you go shaman. Basically I would only ever touch the dk and shaman unless lock overextends and has no trinket for a bomb.

Edit just watched your game, you guys plain and simple are not setting up kills and don't really seem to have any idea how to. Your team needs to cc a lot more when you are popping cds and going for kills

As soon as shaman pops trinket / ns / spirit link, swap to him and kill.. If you dont get a kill, you'll force the other major CDs and they shouldn't be able to keep up with the pressure in the end.

You don't swap after the shaman pops cds lol. Best strat imo is to start lock hard and swap shaman whenever lock is ready and you're able to hex/fear the dps. Swapping first definitely guarantees you nothing because unless you setup the swap your pressure won't be good enough to force any cds and will just put you in a bad position(assuming the rogue and lock don't have vial and(or) cunning cause those trinkets can make any swap a good swap lmao.)

Also forgot to mention lock and sham aren't the only viable targets, despite popular belief on AJ rogues are not invincible. If the rogue is in a bad position without trinket and dotted he can be killed through cheat in a cheap kidney coil quite easily. I wouldn't try too hard to create a rogue kill though because its a wasted swap if the situation isn't right.

vsLSD2.0

The only tactic we found to work is tunnel the shaman start to finish. Soul swap to the druid and fear the lock and druid as much as possible. Use spell lock to stop clones and fears when you're close to a kill and just play as offensively as possible

What we do is switch between Boomkin and Warlock depending on fear DRs, always win, never faced a good LSD2 though

make a soft swap on boomkin to force barskin and trinket if that happens we rape boomkin on the next dance with smoke otherwise just kill the shaman early in the game

I like the sound of swapping between lock and druid. Will keep pressure up and somewhat shut their damage down.

There has a been a few games where when we swapped to sham and I told my rogue to train him while I dot/cc the lock and druid. But if we didnt kill sham then wed slowly lose still.

We will most likely never out pressure/damage them so I suppose it just takes a good swap and cc to one or the other.

tell your shaman to dispell everything he can and you need to close boomkin whenever he starfall blow blind everything just to close starfall and kill shaman or boomkin

just do the general strat, sap lock open boomkin blind shaman , follow it with sap if shaman dont trinket and boomkin will drop really low keep ws / spell lock and cot on lock mean while . if shaman trinketed switch with next dance with stun/coil on shaman and howl on lock boomkin. worked everytime for us atleast.

Start lock and get ES on him. Swap hard to moonkin possibly w/ dance and blind shaman before he can ES moonkin and hex lock/howl him + pet. Should force multiple trinkets here + barkskin. Kill moonkin in a bomb later.
